We only process the data that each feature needs.

• Waitlist: email address, date of birth, chosen language and the time of sign-up. We need them to put you on the waitlist, check that you are at least 18, send you a confirmation and tell you when CAZIMI launches. Your date of birth is also the basis for your astrological profile.
• Confirmation email: after you sign up we send you a single email at the address you entered. For this, the address is passed to our email service provider.
• Number of sign-ups: the website shows how many people are on the waitlist. No information about individual people is visible.
• Contact by email: if you write to us, we process your message and sender address in order to reply.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. This is needed to run and secure the website.

After you sign up, we store a single, technically necessary cookie in your browser (cazimi_waitlist, value “1”, lifetime one year). It contains no personal data and only serves to not show you the form again on later visits. We do not use it for analytics or advertising and do not share it. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings, after which you will see the form again. Otherwise we do not use cookies or analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are served from our own server, not from a third party. The share function does not send any data to us.

Joining the waitlist is voluntary and based on your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox in the form. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future (see section 8).

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent) and, for the technical data, on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in running the website securely).

We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf and on our instructions:

• Vercel Inc. (USA): hosting of the website.
• Supabase Inc. (USA): database for the waitlist. The data is stored in a data centre in Zurich, Switzerland.
• Resend, Inc. (USA): sending the confirmation email through servers in the EU (Ireland).
• Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC): the mailbox through which we receive and answer messages sent to hello@meet-cazimi.com.
• Hostpoint AG (Switzerland): registration and DNS management of the domain.

Some providers are based in the USA or process data there. Where data reaches a country without an adequate level of data protection, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the provider's certification under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

We keep your details until you leave the waitlist or ask us to delete them. You can leave at any time with the link in our email; your details are then deleted. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider only for a short time.

Data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS. The database is set up so that it can only be reached through the website's intended interface. We cannot, however, guarantee complete security on the internet.

Under the applicable data protection law you have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at hello@meet-cazimi.com. We usually answer within 30 days and may need to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, edoeb.admin.ch). If you are in the EU, you can contact the data protection authority of your place of residence.

We may update this Privacy Policy, for example when we introduce new features. The version published on this page applies.
